I quit watching the TV news and most TV programming several years ago so I missed John Stossel’s program. Thanks for pointing my attention to it. It was worth watching.
Politicians are very much aware that when voters become addicted to government handouts of any form it is a stronger addiction than crack cocaine. After reading the previous blog article “Will America Repeat the Mistakes of Ancient Rome?” and learning the United States may be approaching a point in the near future when 50% of voters will be addicted to government handouts, (and I think quite possibly crack cocaine as well) is there any hope to change the system as portrayed in Stossel’s program, before the entire system buckles and the American people are forced to their knees?
